I brush my teeth twice daily, isn’t this sufficient?

Besides the main ingredients in other LISTERINE® formula that kill bacteria causing bad breath, plaque and gingivitis, LISTERINE® Teeth and Gum Defense formula contains Sodium Fluoride which can strengthen the teeth, protect the gum and is more effective in preventing tooth decay.
What are the differences between LISTERINE® Bright & Clean formula and other LISTERINE® formula?
Besides the main ingredients in other LISTERINE® formula that kill bacteria causing bad breath, plaque and gingivitis, LISTERINE® Bright & Clean contains Zinc Chloride that prevents tartar to keep teeth naturally white.
HOW TO USE
Should I use LISTERINE® Mouthwash before or after I brush my teeth?
We recommend that you use LISTERINE® after brushing your teeth.
May I dilute LISTERINE® before use?
Diluting LISTERINE® Mouthwash will reduce its effectiveness. We do not recommend diluting LISTERINE®.
Can I eat right after using LISTERINE?
Since LISTERINE® is antiseptic, its antiseptic component will continue to exert effect in the mouth after the gargle is spitted out. In order to maximise the effect, we recommend that food should only be taken about 30 minutes after mouthwash.
Is there any age restriction for using this product?
Children under the age of 12 should not use LISTERINE®.

Why is alcohol needed in LISTERINE® Antiseptic Mouthwash?
Alcohol is used as a solubiliser for the active ingredients (the fixed combination of four essential oils: eucalyptol, menthol, methyl salicylate and thymol). The alcohol used in LISTERINE® is Ethyl alcohol which has been denatured.
